I remember the nickname "lone ranger". This was my first nose job, I had another one a few years later. I don't think this accident slowed me down too much. I remember mom putting make-up on me for school pictures.

It's a heart wrenching scene to behold a child with such bruises! No -- I don't think it slowed you down too much - but it was a big deal - and we retold/re-enacted frequently -- I wonder how Mom handled the construction site in her home with all these small children? I helped Dad on the roof - hammering in ceder shingles. ( I think I held the drop light -- when it got dark.)
Shaleen, this looks so painful! I think noses affect everything (as I have a sinus infection and just laying down hurts). Kids are so resilient.
I would have more pictures like that with my kids if it weren't for Arnica. Thank goodness!! That is a classic.
