About this blog
A family often forgets the good times it had as the children grow up and begin families of their own. This is about two parents and their 9 children for their growing posterity.
What should be posted? Family memories: vacations, road trips, camp-outs, births, birthdays, holidays, weddings, every day things, how 7 girls shared 1 bathroom... Write it down now, before it's forgotten forever.

I attended 6th grade camp at "Mt. Hermon, CA". Here is a collection of letters I received from home :) that could make you smile and feel that all is right with the world.
1978 puts us at:
Mom & Dad -- 36
Shauna -- 12
Scott -- 10
Shaleen -- 9
Tamara -- 6
Heather -- 4
Summer -- 2
Stephen & Heidi -- just laughin' as hard as they can
That was such a good laugh. I love hearing about everyone's version of the same day. Mom sounds frazzeled . . . dad serene. So sad there were no naps. I can so relate. Wow! that's about my age right now. Summer, is that where your kids got it? Shauna, thanks--that was priceless!
We need to do that...everyone's version of the same day. So funny! Kids in their own worlds, mom running around putting out fires and keeping the 8-ring circus going, and Summer...you are your children's mother!! Now we know where the get it all! :) OK, where am I? I'm not even listed? I thought I was born in 1978....was mom pregnant with me then?
Summ
If this adds to the smiles -- it's dated May 7, 1978 -- so Mom is eight months pregnant. Sigh.
